Who watches the Motor sports program "TURBO - Das automagazin" knows him - Patrick Simon who is seen as a racing driver and test driver there. Also the ADAC GT Masters at channel Kabel 1 is commented by him.

In August 2012 he was visiting the new factory of DTE-Systemsin Norway and was meeting DTE-Driver Øyvind Øversveen. Patrick Simon was impressed, and talking with the developers  from DTE-Systems many new ideas could be collected to improve the chip tuning products and product segment for the accelerator tuning.

Patrick Simon is active in motorsport since 1988, first in racing kart. He drove attention to himself in August 2005 when he drove a Porsche 911 GT2 to break the lap record at that time the Nordschleife.

In the years 2007 to 2010, he then has successfully participated in the 24 hour race on the Nordschleife.
